Improving the Future of Cancer Patients, By Predicting It

Provide state of the art predictive technologies to enhance patient-centered decision making for bone metastases management.

Management of impending metastatic VCF remains a clinical challenge. Previze.AI is an important innovation that could easily be used in practice to guide treatments which may prevent pain and neurologic deficit, as well as improve quality of life in cancer patients.”

Problem

In 2024, there were more than 2 million cancer diagnoses in the US alone.

Cancer often spreads from the source (e.g. breast, lung, prostate) to the spine. Of these spinal metastasis patients, 12% go on to develop vertebral compression fractures (VCFs). These fractures can cause debilitating pain, arm/leg weakness, and unexpected hospitalizations and surgeries.

Overall, these fractures prevent patients from qualifying for life-prolonging therapies (chemo/radiation), which results in early death.

Solution

An AI-enabled tool that identifies patients at high-risk of vertebral compression fractures (VCFs) in patients with spinal metastases.

This ensures that cancer patients are offered the prophylactic care that they need in order to improve patient outcomes and prolong their lives.
