Niki Shakouri has led two commercial launches of healthcare softwares at Comet Health and Promaxo and has over five years of experience in product management, UI/UX design, regulatory affairs, and digital health investing, with a focus on oncology software. She is an alumna of the Texas Medical Center Innovation Factory Biodesign Program and holds a B.S. in Bioengineering from UC Berkeley.

Alex Flores, MD
Dr. Alex Flores has developed machine learning models to enhance patient care and serves as Co-PI of the BCM Spine Innovations Labs. He recently completed a data science and machine learning fellowship at MD Anderson under Jeffrey Siewerdsen. Dr. Flores earned his M.D. from the University of North Carolina and is a 6th year Neurosurgery Resident at Baylor College of Medicine.

Theoren Loo, MS
Theoren Loo brings brings over ten years of expertise in computer vision, data science, and health economics, focused on healthcare innovation. He is currently a Senior Data Scientist at Apella, developing AI tools to improve clinical decision-making and operational efficiency. Theoren holds an MPH from UC Berkeley and a B.S. in Microbiology and Global Health from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
